I’ve just had my latest bloods done HbA1c is fine at 38
But I’ve noticed an abnormal reading on my potassium levels at 5.3 . Is this anything to be concerned with and what could be the cause of this . I’ve heard that high potassium is dangerous is it caused by to much meat or cheese or something to do with low carb

Hyperkalemia ( high potassium) can relate to various things - strangely it was a major risk factor for anorexic young people I used to work with in childrens mental health - and is often reflective of a disturbed sodium / potassium balance
Heres some info, according to which it looks as if your reading is high normal rather than clinical - your GP will be able to elaborate better than me and in a way more tailored to your individual health history
