When I was on my DESMOND course yesterday the head nurse mentioned a new DESMOND course being trialled for pre-diabetics in order to help prevent it progressing into Diabetes. The link is here: http://www.desmond-project.org.uk/279.html
The head nurse lectures and trains DSN's at the University and said they are going to roll our the pre-diabetes course across the country later in the year. It is being fine-tuned right now. She knew because she is involved in the consultation process.
I thought this sounds like good new.
