My 5 year old daughter has started wetting the bed the past few weeks. Her dad is type 1, something told me to check her sugars last week and they were 8.4 before her dinner I checked 2 hours later and they were 10.2, I've been doing them for the past few days and they've all been beaten 7.9 and 10.2. Her fasting are 6.2 up to 7.7.
I took her to the doctors Monday and they said she had a slight trace of glucose and said she could have a urine infection. Her sugars were 4.9 there so in the normal range.
I phoned drs again today because last night while she was sleeping her sugars went up to 10 but dropped down to 8.4 within a hour. They are sending her for a fasting blood test next Tuesday. Just wondering if anyone has had a diagnosis like this where the sugars haven't been super high?
