Hello!!

Just wondered whether any of you budding fitness bods out there could help me out.

I want to find a pre-workout which is both caffeine and sugar free...... or alternatively something which you take before workouts which has the same effects as pre-workout, or can atleast sustain you through an intense session.

Any help appreicated!

Thanks :-)

A cup of Bovril, no carbs, but a gram or two of salt. Or else I have a full English if it's a weekend. I generally like to burn 500kcal or more in a session, not sure if that's 'intense' for you or not.

Why not try beta-alanine? It's recently been bumped up to the A class supplement list as proven it works and is often a component in pre-workout boosters. Or look for some form of nitrate supplement. Usually it's just suggested to drink beetroot juice but that contains a fair amount of carbs so a supplement in pill form could offer the same effect without the carbs, though not sure you actually have to take it before the workout for optimal results.
