prediabetes and covid 19

We know diabetics are at an increased risk of covid 19, but what about prediabetics? I have been asked to return to work next Monday and have searched for an answer, but cant seem to find one. I have phoned my doctors but cant get a telephone appointment till Thursday. Does anyone know the answer?

They aren't at any increased risk of catching it as long as they follow the handwashing and social distancing guidelines, there are many diabetics on the front line (nurses, doctors, shop workers) that have worked throughout the whole thing xx
