Prescription Shortage

Anyone else experiencing shortage and difficulty in getting the prescribed medicines. Currently being told no metformin available due to shortages and demand.
It is somewhat ironic after a good yearly review comment " looking good due to the medicines, diet and live style change".

Unfortunately there are a lot of shortages with multiple medicines at the moment, even for those without diabetes. There’s been a few published articles online stating there’s issues with sourcing diabetes medicines, epilepsy medicines and ADHD medicines. If you’re running low I’d speak to your GP and/or diabetic nurse if you have one about alternatives as it may come to that.
