Probiotics on prescription?

Good Morning,

Before I bother the doctor, does anyone know if you can get probiotics or omega 3 on prescription? I take both for IBS and as a diabetic, it would be useful to know if they can be prescribed.

I would think that if your Gastroenterologist has written to your G.P. to ask him to prescribe then you will get them but doubt you will on your own recommendation.

I take omega 3 for osteoarthritis, I can't get that on prescription wish I could!
