Problem with feet.

I am after some advice.
More mother inlaw is type 2 for many years and has told me the following.

'Hurts walk, swollen, very hot where it's red. Very dry skin I keep putting moisturiser on it but quickly dries up....hurts to touch big toe.'

Her feet, ankles are purple in colour and has been getting worse since Christmas. Should take her to hospital?

Advice greatly appreciated, I am type 2 but only 2 years so new to this.

Thankyou.

Your poor mum, sounds so sore, we can’t give medical advice, your best port of call is to get her to see her GP, if you feel she can’t wait that long and you think she needs to see someone today then give 111 a call, they will triage her and decide if it’s an emergency or will give you advice of what to do next.

Hope she’s sorted soon
