Thought I would share progress update for last 2 months. Diagnosed BS Dec 2020. Immediately started with follwoing approach
31 Dec : 14.5 mmol/L
Started with below from 1 Jan:
1 Metformin 500x2 morning and night.
2. LCHF food.
3. Good Sleep
4. Walking. Currently doing 6000 to 8000 steps. Target is 15K steps.
5. Reduced wt from 71.5kg to 68.5 kg (over 2 months).
6. Yoga - 4 times in a week.

Looks like
1. Food (LCHF) is working. Not keto diet. But carb around 100g / day
2. Sleep
3. Walking
4. Yoga 4 times in a week
5. Metforrmin
As an experience, one of day last week, took Rice (2 bowls for lunch and dinner), had icecream and few fries. Reduced Metformin from 4 / day to 2 / day. Testesd FBS. It was around 6.7. which came as sweet surprise as we were exepcting b/w 7 to 8 due to food.
Focus for Mar/April
1. Reduce wt. Target is 55Kg (by Aug)
2. continue diet
3 continue walking and yoga
HBA1C is due 12April. with trend expecting HBA1C to be between 6.5 to 7%.
