When following the Lchf diet to control Blood sugar is it stl effective if you don't get the recommended amount of protein or too much?

Do you use a glucose meter? It would tell you exactly if what you're doing is effective.

I get stuck into the protein and fats, I give most of the carby stuff a miss like chips / crisps etc.

Pretty lucky to have a supplier of low carb potatoes and bread though.

It's very important for your health in general that you don't undereat protein. If you find it spikes your glucose to eat large amounts then try spreading it out over 3 meals.
