As i understand it protein can raise blood sugar but not as much as carbs. Obviously everyone is diffetent but does anyone have any idea how much less this is than carbs??
Protein will induce an insulin response, but as long as your pancreas is producing a decent amount of insulin there shouldn't be a rise in blood glucose:
About 50% IN THE ABSEBCE OF CARBS. If there are carbs in the meal it might not happen. I , as a very low carber inject for half my protein as if it were carbs
