psoriasis type 1 or 2?

I have psoriasis on my head and when my hair grows to long it is as ichy as hell and I get it in the tops of my ears and I have arthritis in both legs but that's off when I broke them years ago before I was even diagnosed as a diabetic when I was 17 and I am now nearly 40 and tried all the diets and nothing helped until I got morphine tablets and they help with the pain but the psoriasis i have tried many things and nothing and when I grow my hair it comes out in long strands and now I just have a bald hair cut to keep on top of the psoriasis as that helps

I had severe scalp psoriasis for 4 years which was definitely related to stress. After trying the conventional medical route of stronger and stronger topical applications, I asked the consultant dermatologist if he was hopeful of ever curing it. When he said 'No', I discharged myself from treatment and sought help from a clinical nutritionist. Best thing I ever did - she made various dietary recommendations, the most significant of which was to avoid all dairy. Since I was desperate, I gave it a try and within 6 weeks my scalp had cleared. That was 2 years ago and I still avoid dairy (with the occasional lapse for cheese). She did also make other recommendations related to my general health and I reckon it was money very well spent.
