Psyllium husk as a thickener?

Has anyone tried thickening gravy with it, and what was the result? I know it thickens my cold youghurt...

It is likely to form gelatinous lumps rather than an even thickening.

Thanks kitedoc, I'm wondering about that too. Maybe I should do a little experiment and see if a blender will alleviate that problem.
