I had my old pump aacuchek combo for 3years 8 months before it gave me electronic messages and was exchanged.

Significantly though I was getting a huge air bubble in the old pump everytime I loaded a new cartridge. In the new pump I'm not. I haven't changed the way I do anything at all.

The pumps are fantastic. Lets face it what other bit of equipment with such small amounts of fluid could keep running for 4 years, no servicing and doesnt go wrong. Even petrol pumps on forecourts have to be calibrated and checked every year....

I think my old pump was wearing out somehow to give me this huge airbubble everytime for the past 3 months when I was putting a new cartridge in it.

Just loaded up my 3rd cartridge on new one and no big airbubble.

Accuchek were brilliant gor exchaning my pump and then the handset. Just think all pumps are such a fantadtic bit of equipment to keep going 24/7/365 without needing a service. Even mine playing up at 3 years 8 months was treated by the manufacturer absolutely fantastically. They ate a lot of money to NHS but Accuchek have such brilliant customer service.

Have to agree completely, can't believe how much a difference it's made to my whole life and the customer service has been nothing but exceptional.

When past 3 years with pump, I would now be more aware of wear and tear and not just accept my batteies in remote playing me up though. A hige difference between new and old, but just didnt notice.

Well done accuchek though for 1st class customer service and product.
