Hi pumpers, my pump has arrived! getting it fitted/connected in 2 weeks :D

Where can I source/buy covers and clips for my pump? it's an Accu chek Combo and I have searched the website and can see that accessories are available, but can't find how I can buy them? any ideas?

Found this one.

diashop.eu/category108_208_1/product2091/product_info.html

or try Accu check help line to enquire.

If you phone Accu chek they will sort out what you need, some PCT let you order what you need without any hassle. I got a clip for mine thinking it was soft but its hard plastic. I have been warned that if you use a 'phone' type case ensure it doesn't have a magnetic clip as it will interfer with the pump. Hope you get on Ok sounds like we'll be connected about the same time. :D

I emailed them and they are sending me a brochure :D How else do you attach it without some kind of clip? the pouches have a loop for a belt but what if I'm not wearing a belt?! How do you plan to wear yours?

Not sure how big the Combo is but what I done with my mates 508 is put it in the top of my bra cup and wore a V neck t shirt or jumper as I didnt have the remote. This worked quite well and no one actually realised that I had a pump as it looked like a mobile phone. I had a 2ft tube and that was obviously completly hidden as the set was in my tummy.

My body heat didnt affect the insulin at all so I was well chuffed :mrgreen and the pump obviously didnt need a case as it was in my bra

Not sure how to wer it yet, been on the diabetes support web site as well most of the women seem to wear it in their bra, don't know what i think bout that. I might request a brochure too, they don't seem to have much on the website. Some of the manufacturers seem to have a bigger choice. Have looked at the websites that do pump accessories alot seem to be 'bum bag' type products. If you find a good solution let me know!! Good luck
