Being type 1, my health and what really grates me are false people who make themselves out to be something when their not
I've never insured my pump over the last 15 yrs but from what I understand the Insight is a valuable piece of kit.
Do many of you insure your pumps and would it be cheaper putting it on household insurance or I thnk I've heard mention s separate insurance policy. I am interested in keeping my kit protected .

Morning I have the insight pump, my first. I have it on my house insurance named because I was told to value is £3000. Heaven forbid if I lost it. It has only cost me another 79p month to add it. I'm with Aviva.

Blimey that's cheap to insure I've had cheaper cars (when I could drive) and they cost more

I phoned nationwide who I have my house insurance with. They told me that it would be covered as I have individual item to the value of £4000. I did not need to pay any extra.

That's brilliant looks like house insurance maybe the best option

It'll depend if you have all risks, and the single item limit of the policy. It will also be worth checking it will be insured away from your home, for obvious reasons.

Whichever option it falls under, and whether it cost more, or falls within the standard terms of the policy, I would ask them to confirm it in writing. Insurers can be slippery fish, at the point of any claim.

I know we have single items in our policy as my sons guitars are covered singular items for home and away but I dish out how much value on an item and I suppose there'll say something different for a pump thanks for that. A good reminder .
