Pump malfunction

This morning my pump gave a motor warning and then an e70 code. After getting in touch with the 24 hour careline been told they will be sending out a replacement, not to use it and are looking to collect mine for troubleshooting but due to Easter I'm expecting a few days before this happens.

I was just wondering had this happened to anyone else. Only had the pump a few months and this has knocked my confidence back. Not sure yet what's caused this error if it was down to me as I couldn't find in the manual the error code so unsure if it's just down to maybe my carelessness or a fault in it. Pump is a minimed veo.
 
No but I would be very upset if that happened. I hope they courier you a replacement first thing Tuesday.

I'm hopeful it will be Tuesday, I've been told they are normally really good at getting replacements sent out. Just my luck it happen on a weekend and around Easter holidays
 
My Medtronic pump had a motor malfunction on a Friday afternoon before the May bank holiday and the help line arranged to send me a new pump that arrived by courier on the Tuesday morning.

Hopefully you'll have a record of all the basal settings if you download your pump info as you'll need to set the whole thing up again. Also don't forget to remove the pump clip if it has one as I handed over the whole thing to the courier and had to fashion a replacement clip out of a clothes peg until I could re order another!

This is also a good reason to keep a written copy of your settings etc and also when you've altered anything. I've done this since pumping (and since diagnosis) stickler for lists, most DSN love a paper copy as well

Just go a phone call that they are sending it with a courier today. So I'm very impressed with their customer service. I'll make sure I've the clip of now hadn't even thought of that.

Yeah I'm glad I update my carelink at least weekly or everytime I change something as well as keeping a written record. Thanks for all the replies
 
Extremely impressed with the service replacement pump arrived just after 1. Around 24 hours after pump failure and getting in contact with them. Apart from the failure not happening couldn't ask for anything else
