From what I know most people won't get the Omnipod if they use more than what the pod holds in 3 days. There are pumps which hold more insulin than the Omnipod, those are all tubed pumps though.

In order to get the Omnipod in our area, they calculate how much insulin you use a day on average, and as Antje77 said, if you use more than the Omnipod holds for 3 days, you can't have it. They won't fund us changing it every 2 days, that was made very clear. I'm surprised it wasn't discussed with you before you opted for the Omnipod.

It was the same at my clinic @Hopeful34. If the total insulin use for 3 days was that close to the maximum capacity I would've thought it'd be a no as it leaves no room for changes.
Is your pump NHS funded @kerric01?
I can't offer any advice as I used too much insulin for Omnipod to be an option I'm afraid.
