After 48 years of being a T1D, I've finally come round to the idea of having a pump. (Put off having one due to being quite active and clumsy as anything).
I was thinking about getting the Omnipod 5, initially, but my dietitian sent me a list of possible options in case I changed my mind.
One option is the T:slim X2.
Can anyone here who uses or has used the t:slim give me an opinion on it?

Thanks.

Personally I love my tslim, it works for me but we are all different. I have been pumping heading on 20 yrs, Roche pumps before and I've had tslim 3.5yrs. I used to work with horses when I first had a pump and can honestly say that an active lifestyle isn't a problem, they are even smaller now so very easy to hide. A good friend is on the Medtronic closed loop and from what she tells me I would not swap because of my lifestyle. I have very varied days activity wise so I appreciate having different basals I can use, having a pump ' learn me ' just would not work as by the time its learnt, my routine will have changed. Different pumps work best for different people. Im also a bit of a control freak and the tslim allows me that and doesn't ever argue with me. I also like to be able to extend my bolus most of the time. Most days I am in range 80-90% of the time and I think that says a lot.
