hi guys!

I will be starting pump therapy on 28th October and was wondering where on earth am I going to store all of the cannulas, tubing emergency pens etc etc
Anyone have any storage solutions??
Nathan

I keep my cannulas in their boxes and have a shelf for them. It depends how many you get at a time. I know some people are given months' worth, but I order as needed so get a couple of boxes at a time. Yes, sometimes they do take up space, especially when I have a new order arrive and old ones left. I used to keep one side of a cupboard for them. Basically, put them wherever you have room! You'll find somewhere that suits you. Also, think about where you'll be changing the sets. I use my bedroom so keep them there.

My back up pen I just keep downstairs near my bag ( as back up if I go out, etc) where it was when I was on MDI.

I tend to keep my pump stuff in my back bedroom and usually get 3 months worth of sets, cartridges etc delivered in one go arriving in a medium size brown box but over time, sets have accumulated so I now store surplus stock in a large foldable bag just in case I need to use it.

I normally change sets in either my bedroom or bathroom but tend to use my bathroom for cartridge changes as the lighting is fairly good.

Keep all my pump/diabetes related equipment in a drawer in my bedroom, this way I know where everything is.

Second vote for spare room - a chest of draws in there so thats where it all stays

How many supplies are you expecting?
Cannula and tubing biggest box I have had is 4 inches deep and 6inch square. Cartridge box is 5 1/2 by 4 inches and 4 inches deep. Pens what do you do with them now?
