Hey just wondered if anyone has encountered any issues with their pump and Induction hobs as we are having extn with new kitchen and hubby wants an induction hob but heard this may cause problems? Any advice really appreciated thank you

@Tracyann35 I have used an induction hob for the duration of my pump (approx. 12mths) and had no issues whatsoever. I certainly wouldn't risk placing it on top of the hob, but cooking with it has not caused me any concern so far. There are very clear warnings against it in the manuals, but I suspect personally this is the manufacturers erring on the side of caution, and have not heard of any negative stories so far.

Hi Tracyann35, I have a Medtronic 640 pump and use an induction hob, I have had no problems. I did check with my consultant prior to getting the pump and they confirmed it was ok to use an induction hob.

Thanks so much

I've used mine around two seperate induction hobs and not had any issues with either.
