Based on experience with pumps, does anyone know what pumps are more prone to leaking than others? I'm so tired of my omnipod 5 leaking on me and having to change it early, wasting insulin and supplies. I'm having to call the company for practically HALF of the order to be replaced due to early changes just from leaking.

I move a lot, my work requires me to and I work in a small space with a few others so it gets bumped n such.

I'd love any advice or words from personal experience with pumps so I can make an informed decision on whether I should fully change to maybe a tubed pump instead of my omnipod.

many thanks :3

Good Morning. I am an Omnipod 5 user. Previously used Omnipod Dash. I have not had any significant issues with leaking pods.

I use various patches if my pod is coming loose. “ Not just a patch “ and the Omnipod Pod Pals are the ones I have found most useful. Skin Tac can also be useful but can make the pod difficult to remove.

Hope you find a solution

Another one using tubed Tandem, which has never leaked.

Have you talked to your hospital team? Leaked insulin can be due to not rotating sites well, or pods becoming loose.
