I was diagnosed when I was 5 so cant remember much at all. My mum and dad noticed I was going to the toilet alot and drinking loads so they took me to our GP and he said I wasn't diabetic so my mum and dad took me to the hospital and they diagnosed me. My mum was type 1 so I am guessing I have it because of it being in the family I also have a uncle who has type 1 and my nan and uncle have type 2
