So for ME, my carbs ramp up through the day but again I'm never over 20 for the day, unless I have wine and that too raises me.</p><p></p><p>I couldn't figure out my carb to bs ratio until instarted on insulin and not sure there's a way for type 2 but it just shows you how much one carb can effect bs. Ridiculous. Maybe you could try yogurt for lunch if you love it. Or keep hard boiled eggs on hand and mix with some mayo! Yum. O half an avocado, turkey slices on a piece of lettuce with mayo or avocado. Just a few ideas. I do keep veggies low at bf as well. I save them for lunch and dinnner. Even salads of just greens require insulin for me so I keep them small. Just some ideas. Keep testing and you will find what meals work and when during the day they work. I pretty much eat the same things everyday and the same size and I know my insulin requirements. I do eat a variety of veggies and proteins but I know my macros at each meal. Some would be bored to tears but I have no anxiety about what or how much to eat. It took awhile to find my meals, macros and insulin doses so I just stick with it. I'm not bored at all. It's just food but it tastes great. </p><p></p><p>I'm so happy things are going the right way. Fasting is always the last to return to normal. As your set point gets lower, it will follow.</p></blockquote><p></p>
