I have been told that I am type 2 diebetic chemist told me to ask for free prescirption form for doctors i filled it in asked nurse to cheeck over form and I have handed it in to receptoin team I have not heard anything more its been over a month HELP PLEASE

Are you on diabetes medication? You only get free prescriptions if you take meds and not control with diet only. If so I would ring the surgery and ask. In the meantime you’ll need to pay for your prescriptions but ask for a receipt, explain why you need it, so that when you receive your medical exemption card you can return to the pharmacy for a refund

To be fair. Things seem to take a while after the covid aftermath..? If your are entitled to a card for an exempt script? (Mine looks like a white credit card.) It will eventually drop through the post when authorised?

lol, I rang my surgery to clarify after a repeat item didn’t seem available till November?? (Libre sensor.I couldn’t order online till, late October & mine would run out this weekend?) It turned out I order straight from the chemist with a review in November. (Some are now called a “batch” prescription. In my part of the world.)
