Question about my symptoms

Good morning, I'd like to ask your advice, sorry for my ignorance! I have no diagnosis of diabetes. Can diabetes present in a vague collection of symptoms or are there certain symptoms that must be there and be experienced quite significantly to cause any concern?
For many years I have experienced random lightheaded spells (which can also drain my energy). Recently this has happened a few times where it has been more pronounced and I've needed to hold onto something/sit down. Occasionally I will get random bursts of adrenaline, like a feeling of butterflies in the stomach. A few weeks ago I experienced rapid heart beat not long after eating some brownies that were very high in sugar (not making them again!).
Looking at lists of some of the more 'minor' symptoms of diabetes, I have also experienced for about a year or so bleeding gums, strange taste in the back of my mouth, and dry itchy skin.
I eat regular meals, some sugary snacks though. I am a healthy weight, in my 30s, no apparent risk factors.
Am I being a hypochondriac here or is there any point in me speaking to my GP?
Many thanks

Diabetes can be present with no symptoms.

You should contact your doctor if you are worried.

In your position, I'd write out your list of symptoms and present them to your GP. I have no idea whether they correspond to diabetes or something else, you'd need blood tests for that, but your GP will be able to make an educated guess as to their significance, and do the tests to check out his or her guesses.

Good luck.

Symptoms are different for everyone.
Or as already mentioned, none at all.
Symptoms are usually feelings or the body reacts to what ever is going on, usually your brain trying to compensate for a lack of a hormone or vitamin that is usually produced naturally.

Speak to your GP, he should test for anything that your symptoms dictate.

You are not a hypochondriac, it's your health, look after it!

Thank you for your advice
