Hi,
I have not been diagnosed with diabetes but due to some symptoms (primarily extreme unquenchable thirst) I bought a test kit hoping to rule diabetes out. Unfortunately I have been coming in at the pre-diabetes glucose levels according to this site. Given my age though it seems unlikely I would get diabetes now so i'm still thinking there could be another explanation. My levels go much higher about an hour after eating though and what I cannot figure out , and I have googled it to death, is it ok for your blood glucose to go high after eating providing it comes back down by the 2 hour mark? Or is it supposed to stay under a certain amount for the whole two hours? because all the information always says "2 hours after eating" and I cant work out what they should be within those two hours.
Thank you for any information you can provide,
Rachael
