Today I awoke to a reading of 6.6 , which is high for me, lunch again 6.6 , tonight 8.8.

Food intake some cheddar cheese for breakfast, some cheddar cheese and ham for lunch.

Generally on a version of LCHF diet, diagnosed May last year and since I have been testing ( June 2014) never had levels like this.

Yes I am concerned, no I'm not panicking but previously if I have had to my mind, high readings there has always been a reason.

Are you feeling off colour? Viral? Aches and pains?

Catherine, AndBreathe feeling fine , tired but that's usual for me just tested again 2hrs after dinner of king prawns fried in butter with a little garlic, now reading 4.9.

Could be a rogue batch a strips, just open a new tub yesterday.

Apologises for troubling you and many thanks for you replies.

Your diet seems to be void of any fruit and veg John, if that's a typical days eating then this could be the reason for your tiredness as your body isn't be nourished properly.

Noblehead foods today are not my normal diet, just a reaction to to what appeared to me to be higher than my normal readings.

I would normally be eating a much more balanced diet bearing in mind diabetes which effects us all.

Again thanks for your concern.

I do not think I can face cheese for my brecky however i love it for my supper with some crackers.... but when i have my bloods done again at the end of the month if high I deff will try eggs for breakfast although I prefer them for lunch ;)
