OH is type 2, was diet controlled now on 2x 500mg metformin. I am trying to do low carb (and deal with my own sugar addiction I am sure I have)
He never remembers any readings or levels when I ask him
He only tests once a day -I make him first thing each morning and since 1st Jan it is 9.8 down from 12.8
He is due a check soon so I was going to get a letter of authority so I can get and monitor his progress (I am not a monster control freak just a worried spouse honest!)
What do I need to know...he also is on simvastatin 40mg and citalopram 10mg for anxiety. He says he gets tingly arms sometimes and puts it down to anxiety could that be diabetic related....?
