Quick breakfast question

I think most cereals are high in carbs. If you read the pack it will give you some idea. Also dried fruits will be pretty high in sugar. I am not bringing you good news am I :(

If you really want to eat a cold manufactured cereal the best suggestion is perhaps All Bran. You could add some fresh (frozen) berries to it.
Have a look at this page here:

Another idea is to make a muesli with some jumbo oats and a mixture of seeds and nuts. It 'weighs' heavily though so you have to take care with portion size.

Can anyone suggest something 'good' to put on weetabix?

about a 2 mile run.. :D they're about 13g carb per biscuit plus the milk - though I had one this morning

How about a few fresh blueberries; one of the better fruits for BG purposes. And a spoonful of yoghurt? (check for carbs - they vary a lot) I hate yoghurt personally, but blueberries go well with lots of cereals

That's what I have every morning on my porridge but I can't believe how much they have gone up in the last few weeks, this time last month they were 89p (Aldi) for a 125g container and now they are £1.59

With all the different options there must be some effective ones but which ones?

Usually the ones that have the least effect on blood sugars and the only way to find that out is by testing 2 hours after eating.

I have tried yogurt, I really have but like our resident Sheep, I just don't like it very much. Don't like cereal either so that takes care of that problem for me!
