I am due at my clinic in 10 days to talk over my lack of control of my blood sugars. I am having approx. 1 sometimes 2 hypos in a 24 hour period. Can anyone suggest a temporary fix, to keep me going? More/ less insulin? I am T2, Novamix insulin, 4 mets per day, underactive thyroid and I have angina.
I think that you should contact your doctor, or whoever is in charge of your insulin advice and tell them what is happening - you really should not wait to make changes.
10 days is too long to wait call them first thing and ask to speak/see someone straight away. Personally if it was me and I could see a pattern then I'd up my carb content around that time to prevent it occurring but I would also want to speak to someone to discuss my doses and get this fixed too.
