After a couple of very time consuming false starts, I've started using Myfitnesspal.com on line and via my smart phone. It has the mix of features I wanted:
- It's free .....I'm a scot, after all
- You can nearly always find a food if you type in the full name from the wrapping
- You can add foods
- You can check the figures and confirm them as accurate so you get a confidence level
- You can save and recall full meals
- It records calories, carbs and salt (and other stuff I'm not interested in)
- You can record exercise
It's not aligned with diabetes so theres no specific place to put in meter readings but I can wo0rk around this.
Been recording for a whole week now and getting quite used to it.
Now all I've got to do is record lower numbers!!!!
