9 months ago I was diagnosed T2 hba1c was 109.
2 months on metformin and It was 59
At this point I stopped metformin and went lchf.
3 months later hba1c was 41.
Another 3 months have passed and my hba1c is at 40.
Just wanted to let you know you can get your numbers down with the healthier choices.
Congratulations and well done you.
The important bit is when you had the light bulb moment and realised that eating healthier didn’t mean following official diabetic eat well guidelines! Then the challenge of learning all about it......
You should be well proud and I’m sure that you’ll carry on maintaining the weight loss and lowering the bgs by sticking to your new way of eating. It’s great to feel much fitter and lighter - big success
