Yes now that I am retired It is high time that I gave something back to Diabetes UK and others and that time is now. That's perfectly said, some need inspiration to help them so the more we hear from those who have managed for most of their lives is really admirable.
Just to let you all know that I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for 48 years. I have been given the opportunity to be interviewed by this Radio Station on Sunday 17th March at 1p.m. I hope that my ups and downs with the illness will be of help to all or some of you. Diabetes uk will be mentioned several times throughout the hour that I am on. If you are unable to listen at the time of the broadcast, it will be repeated by Podcast from the pages on the Radio Stations website.
