Type 2 Raised readings

I have had readings of between 8 and 10 since being diagnosed as type 2 last year. Suddenly over the last 2 weeks my readings have shot up but have now settled between 14 and 18. I have not changed my diet or lifestyle at all and even my diabetic nurse is puzzled. I have had blood tests to check for infection, kidney and liver function etc. but all came back clear. I take 80mg Gliclazide with breakfast and 40 mg with dinner. Any ideas or suggestions?

A couple of weeks ago I had the same problem but I stuck with the low carb being strict with myself and my bs readings are down againhigh 5s low 6s.
Stick with it, you are low carbing arn't you if not give it a try you could then drop the meds
I read everything on packets if it's got more than 2or 3 I avoid it

Yes low carbing as much as possible.
