heey everyone,
i was wondering if any of you get random hiccups throughout the day. i have recently started getting these weird hiccups every day, i get one hiccup and thats it for like an hour or so and then i get it again. its quite odd. ive had 7 so far today and counting, im sure i'll have over 10 by the end of the day lol. i sometimes get them even before i eat and drink so i dont think its that. just wondering if any of you get this too...

I have never had one but my husband does (non-diabetic). Not every day though. It can be embarrassing though depending on when it happens.

I wouldn't imagine its anything to worry about but if it's causing you concern do see your gp. When I was a child I often had hiccups and my mother would tell me to slow down when eating, it was good advice and it stopped once I listened to her advice, but as your hiccups are before eating we can safely rule this out.

Try searching the net for suggestions and tips on how best to deal with hiccups, you may be surprised at what is suggested! :wink:
