Hi all
Am still fairly new to this - only been testing for last two weeks and had been feeling quite smug that I hadn't had any readings in double figures ....until 5 minutes ago.
Pre-lunch was 6.3. Lunch was 3 slices livlife bread + three grilled tomatoes followed by natural yogurt and few blueberries. Did test 2 hours after and got result of 16!!! Immediate re-rest and was 8 (using same finger). Normal portion of bread is 2 slices, but felt very hungry and thought one extra slice would be ok, especially as much less carbs than normal Hovis wholemeal. Was the 16 a rogue result and the 8 more accurate? I refuse to get 'hung up' about each reading but this one being especially high was a concern. Advice please.....
