Type 1 Range of freestyle Libre 2

I use the freestyle libre2 system and have done so for last 3 years. The reader is great but I would like to use my iPhone as the primary device rather than the reader. I work in a school and having my phone with me constantly is difficult, due to safeguarding issues. I would like to know if anyone else has this problem and how they sorted it. Does anyone know how far you can be from the device before the signal is lost and the alarm goes off?
