I needed the same cable to my meter, called them and got one sent home for free.

Well, that sucks. I wouldn't pay that for a cable either, one that they should have included with the meter.
 
Bayer have the right idea they use standard USB sockets on all theContour Next meters and the meters are nice too.
I love mine but mostly use my SD Codefree because the strips are cheaper.
 
The SD PC software is a bit. ............
