I have recently been getting a reaction on my skin where the freestyle sensor is. does anyone get this

You are very unlucky. I react very badly to Tegaderm 'plaster' but have never had any problems with the Libre 2 adhesive. There are some products which can help (Google it). I believe overall fewer people get reactions with the Libre than the Decom G6

I had the Libre sensor on a free trial but had to remove it after a couple of days due to a bad skin reaction. I have eczema though which probably caused it.

Just found this thread after a search. I’m reassured it’s not just me being super sensitive to Libre, but also a bit concerned that it is a more common problem that Abbit will admit to.
The last few Libres I had have been increasingly itchy and left big red marks but the latest one was actually rejected, pushed out of my skin by the underlying tissue! I had unlikely low numbers ( around 3mmol) for a couple of days then at 7 days, scanning produced the message ‘sensor not working please replace’ I took it off and there was a big lump and a hole where the little probe had been inserted. I think my arm must have treated it like a splinter and worked hard to get rid of it.
I tried talking to Abbot about it to see if anyone else had reported this but they just sent me a free replacement of my ‘faulty sensor’!
