Reactions to trulicity

Evening.
Has anyone else been placed on this once a week medication and had problems with it. I had my first dose on Wednesday . It’s been a rollercoaster. I have waves of nausea and upset stomach. Does this pass. I hate feeling like this. I am still on metormin . Any suggestions on foods to either avoid or help quell the nausea. Thank you for any help.
I had about four weeks of bad nausea and then it disappeared. Lost about five kilos in that time. Now after three years I have very good control with weight still down and no side effects.

Hi! Yes these are somewhat common. It does pass. It lasted about 2 weeks for me. It's definitely helping me. I think I'm just ending week 5 or so now. Hang in there!

3mg Trulicity. Nausea and acid reflux starts 36hrs after injection and last 24-48hrs. Controlled with chewing multiple Gaviscon during the worst 'waves'.

After 3 months nurse added Omeprazole to control the nausea. Seems to have worked - now only get very mild nausea for a short time around 36hrs after injection.
