Hi just done bloods on two different machines, one says 5.7 and the other 6.5.
What is next step.

I believe there is a 10% margin of error on BG machines.
Hubbys always reads lower than mine. I just take an average if I do 2 readings and don't worry

I'd say far more than 10% with the codefree.... The one I bought was 1.0 higher than 2 other machines of my mates that read the same lower number. My research since indicates others have had issues too.

I used the code free which was 6.5 and the other machine was Caresens. I will document 6.5 to be safe.

My advice is to stick to one meter only. Put the other away for emergencies. Otherwise you will get stressed and confused. You are only looking for trends and patterns, so the exact figure doesn't matter too much, and over a period of time any odd readings will even out.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Put one machine away in a cupboard.

It is but suppose I worry more as I am on diet only due to medication intolerance

mine differ across machines all the time, just look at the general trends

I will do, going to stick to one machine otherwise I will stress when I do my bedtime and during night readings as they go to high 3's or low 4's.
