Hello,
I haven't been diagnosed but decided to get a monitor to check, I got an Accucheck Instant.
On a morning it is 6.2 and an hour or so after my evening meal it's around 4. I read somewhere that it should be at its lowest in the morning.
What are your thoughts please?
Thanks
Phil

We all vary as to when we are most Insulin resistant, your readings probably mean your resistance is at it's lowest later in the day. Hence the very good reading, post evening meal. The trick is to work out when, and tailor your eating to suit it best.

Those look OK to me. Morning readings are often the highest of the day, in many people's experience.

Answer depends why you're testing, really, and it's a bit like checking how much electricity your house is using. It will vary, and unless you cross-reference it with other factors (eg) with what you're eating, what exercise you do, whether you're ill or not etc, individual readings probably won't tell you much.
