Hi Guy's.

I love drinking beer  especially real ale, I'm not a fan of larger but I will drink it if there's nothing else.

Last night I went out, I've been off work today :) and I had three pint's together with some nibbles. This morning when I did my blood test at 5:55 it was 10.3mml. Is this normal after a night on the beer, or should I cut down on my drinking. I only go out one night a week and I'm guessing that It will be OK.

Does anybody have any advice.

It's all a giant balancing act.
Alcohol makes your sugar levels go down. But beer, being quite low in alcohol, is quite high in sugars.
What you eat with it, what you drink, what you eat before, after etc can all have an effect on levels.

10 isn't a hugely disasterous reading, but if you want to do it regularly it's not good.
When you go out, take some readings before, during, and remember what you eat.
Keep doing that and eventually you'll get to know what you need to do to keep it lower.

Good luck :)
