Hi all!

We'd like to apologise for the extended maintenance today. We encountered a few problems during our routine maintenance and had no choice but to take the forum offline for a few hours whilst we fixed them.

On a much brighter note, we've been working very hard to create a brand new forum experience for you all to enjoy. It comes packed with loads of new features, including the eagerly anticipated 'like' button for posts! We hope to have this up and running within the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!

Thankyou Giverny i promise to come back and like this post as soon as i can

Shame the forum is still running like a snail on Mogadon
Never mind, one day...

Well I can't speak for others, but I seriously missed the forum today, but I am so grateful that you guys put in the time and effort to give us such a fantastic facility,

Thanks Guys.

We hope to have that fixed very soon! We're currently running on a fairly dated platform with very limited updates. Very much looking forward to getting the revamped forum up and running for you all

Well done getting it sorted Giverny  to the tech team....

Don't know if it's related to the recent downtime but the forum search seems to be broken ATM.

I tried searching for peanuts in the recipes section and it returned nothing!

Yes, unfortunately we've had to disable the search function as it was creating too much load on our servers. This is fairly common with large forums.

For now, here's a quick work-around:

Go to google.com and type in "site:diabetes.co.uk/diabetes-forum" followed by your keyword. So let's say I want to search for Insulin on the forum, I'd type:
