The result is high, for a fasting c-peptide test.
What do you mean by a stimulated test?

And the hba1c is also quite high.
Cold and flu remedies are just the same as drinking orange juice.

Best wishes.

@Daisy_Daisy , 3608 p/mol result for C-Peptides is high. You are obviously producing a lot of insulin so your pancreas is working very well in the face of what is very likely significant levels of insulin resistance. To give you an example the last time I checked my C-Peptides, about 2 years ago, they were just over 540 pmol/Ls, (fasting 6 hours) this figure was deemed low/normal. Being unwell your body may have significantly increased blood sugars to help fight off your illness, plus whatever meds you used. It looks like your rise in blood sugars prompted your pancreas to produce large quantities of insulin to counter the high blood sugar levels. This may have raised your insulin resistance. Hyperinsulinemia is usually associated with Type 2 diabetes, but as you are having GAD antibody tests your Dr must suspect autoimmune. Note, not everyone produces GAD autoimmune antibodies there are also IAA , IA-2A and 8(ZnT8Ab) autoantibodies that can indicate autoimmune diabetes.

Edited to provide link.

And here is the link with the known autoantibodies associated with T1.
