recently diagnosed with Diabetes 2

Just to say hello. just learning how to manage my diabetes. I have lost 17lbs in the 6 weeks since my diagnosis. I am eating about 1500 calories a day, low fat, low sugar, low GI and doing alot more exercise. I don't have any symptoms other than tiredness and I am managing to keep my blood sugar levels under 6.5. Will I be able to keep this up? I've got a lot of weight to lose.

Welcome to the forum. Have a good look around and delve into the various areas. When you are done ask questions. We will do our best to give you answers.

You ask if you can keep up what you have achieved so far ? No reason why not, if you have the willpower and the motivation. Anything is possible.
