Hi @becks,
Welcome to back to the forum.
I noticed that your last post was back in 2014, about the same time I found myself getting a true diagnosis and struggling to battle my way through the lack of treatment and knowledge through all my health practitioners.
You are not alone, you have found a forum where we have had many posters, who are seeking the same answers you need to be healthy again.
I was lucky, I found an endocrinologist who actually had worked out what was happening after two appointments.
But as I have discovered, even then I had to discover how best to treat the condition.
I have been in ketosis for them four years. Not had a hypo since my last eOGTT!
I have my health now and am really busy working.

I will pm the endocrinologist name and hospital.

Have you had tests since diagnosis?
Are you using a glucometer to see what is happening?
What are you eating?
Do you know which foods you have an intolerance to?
Or have you food allergies?

Sorry for the questions, but we can help you, the more we know.

Best wishes and welcome to the forum.

Hello ! Thanks for reply , since my last post I’ve actually had a baby , sugars were great when pregnant.

Now they are same old **** again lol

I’ve had prolonged GTT which I dropped to 2.7 on my 4th hour

I did start the 72 hour fast but only made it half way through as I discharged myself

I’m low on magnesium and vitamin d and thyroid (but not low enough to treat apparently )

So my meter I’m spiking to 8s and 9s then I’ll drop to 4s and I’ll have full blow symptoms
Shakey feel sick like I’m going to pass out incoherent

And eating relieves this

Back when I first had this my sugars would regularly go to 3s but not now

I generally eat high protein high fat and very low carb

I’m seeing a functional doctor who suspects I have adrenal and thyroid issues I’m currently waiting for the tests

I'm not sure how to answer you.
You are doing everything that I'm doing.
The noticeable thing is you are getting spikes. I don't.
I know I achieve being in normal levels even fifteen minutes after eating.
It is this non hyper, that helps with not getting the symptoms.
So I eliminate those foods that even spike me above normal levels.
I have been like this since diagnosis, I am in ketosis. Google it!
During your fasting test did you go hypo?
The reason I ask is because sometimes, it is better not to eat. It sounds crazy but fasting actually helps with keeping normal levels especially if you fast from morning till late afternoon, then eating in a six hour window before a small very low carb about 9pm. That is called intermittent fasting.
Of course, if you can't fast, that is a different matter.
Also when I was first diagnosed, my dietary advice from my endocrinologist was to eat small very low carb meals every three hours. It worked because it prevented the hypo, but it was too much food after a while. If like me you wake up to normal levels, you could try to leave breakfast and start from there.
I have found not sticking to regular meal times helps as well. I eat when I want, don't have hunger, don't crave food. Just pick throughout the day, trying to eat as low carb as possible, that works for me!

Maybe it is your other hormonal issues, but even stressing about eating can raise your levels.
It is so difficult until you find your dietary needs and get to feel better.

Best wishes
