Recovery after getting tonsils out!

Finally after repeated bouts of tonsillitis I'm getting them out. Can anyone tell me how their recovery went after the surgery and how their BG levels were. Also have you seen a huge benefit since getting them removed?

HUGE benefit now they're out. I'm never ill now!

I had them removed last July. Since I wasn't eating it drinking much my BG was very low most of the time. It was a struggle to being it up at times.

I was high (about 14) when I left the hospital but that was it. Body recovered quickly.

Everyone is different though :)

I found it hard to eat much for a week or so afterwards but this was thirty years ago so don't remember much else.

I lived on scrambled eggs and mash with butter and melted cheese until healed.
