Hi! New to this so not sure if this is the sort of thing that people can help with ... but taking a stab at it - haha!
Recently when I've been doing my injections I'm getting red blotches where I do them, it's only after I do my levemir and doesn't happen with my nova rapid. It sometimes itches too. I change my needles after every use and rotate my injection sites so there aren't any lumps just the red blotches.
Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks x

) so they put me on lantus so I could split the dose. I've been on it for 3 years and the blotches have only started the last few weeks. I thought it was maybe a bad batch of insulin so tried a different packet of pens but it's still doing it. I inject on my legs, I've never tried anywhere else so that may be the next thing to try. I'm at the diabetes clinic this week which is fortunate so I think you're right I should ask and see what the specialty nurse says.
